There’ll Be Some Changes Made
“There’s a change in the weather,
and a change in the sea,
So from now on there’ll be a
change in me...”
Change is inevitable...except from a vending machine.
As we're finding out today, not all change is profitable. But, here's what we found in our latest free offer site review about things that change and things that stay the same.
No one under 40 will likely remember Ethel Waters singing the old Billy Higgins blues song about changes, but that's what immediately popped into mind when we saw the latest 2-2-2 selection set in the free offer from our friends at SubscriberBASE in South Carolina.
Same Offer, Second Verse
There’ll be no changes about this offer, iteself, by the way. There’ll be no difference between this one and the Free iPhone offer we review elsewhere in the ivy covered halls of this very web site. It’ll end up with the same requirement to spend $3,600 in order to qualify for the incentive item by taking two of only three offers shown on the final selection page.
Not Quite Clones
As a matter of fact, these two offers are so much alike, we automatically assumed that they were sponsored by the same company just taking a double shot at the bargain hunting public. But, the iPhone offer is by a company from New York which appears only to have the same clients advertising on their offer pages. The only real difference we found was the main incentive item here was a Macbook Air, which means the offset for the $3,600 outlay will be a little more favorable than with the iPhone.
Change In the Weather
But, back to the real changes. We don’t know if it’s the poor economy or the approach of the Fall season, or just because they felt like it, but a couple of the offering companies have changed their game plans slightly.
For example, we noticed the offer from Extreme Brite White now no longer specifies the amount of the shipping. They tell you their risk free trial only costs a dollar plus shipping, but they don’t say how much the shipping is prior to their asking for your credit card information. That is new.
Historically, EBW has calculated and presented the S&H on the same page as your credit card submission form. So, short of providing our credit card data, we weren't able to determine the exact cost of their RFT, but it has been $4.99 in the past. We assume this makes your participation in this offer $5.99 to start.
Change In the Sea
The Bella Sole Jewelry offer has decreased in their initial charges. They’ve come down from $9 to $2 to qualify for their risk free trial. This now makes them a player in the consideration of offers that more readily qualify us for the main incentive. Besides that, we also believe Bella Sole has a much larger number of items to choose from at the start than they have had previously. All the other details are the same. If you remain in their membership, you’ll still receive two jewelry items per month at $68 per shipment.
Change In the Shipping And A Change in Me
And, finally, a few offers have lowered the amounts of shipping and handling. Like Recharge 5 Hour Energy drink, which used to say in its ad: “just pay shipping and handling.” Now their ads say “try it for $1 plus S&H.” But, even so, that still turns out to be about a dime less than before. Well, we don’t care how they break it down, if it takes less to qualify for the offer, we like it!
